Tink
My good friend Erica Moten, better known as "Tink," graciously allowed me to experiment with natural lighting photography during a two-location shoot at the WCU parking deck and the Husk Apartments pool. With her prior modeling experience, Tink introduced me to some incredible poses that I was later able to incorporate into sessions with other clients.
As one of my first photoshoots, this experience was both enjoyable and educational. Tink's professionalism and creativity made the entire process smooth, fun, and memorable. I’m truly grateful for her contribution to helping me grow as a photographer!

Mike Murph
When my line brother, Mike Murph, reached out and asked me to capture photos for his birthday, I was honored that he trusted me with the opportunity. The shoot took place at night on the rooftop of the WCU parking deck, where I utilized my TTL Speedlight Flash to enhance the lighting and bring the vision to life.
It’s safe to say my brother was thrilled with the results, and I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of celebrating his special day through photography. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do!

Sausha
Sausha and her two sorors, J’dah and Diya, booked me to capture some memorable photos just before their sorority chapter’s probate for the Pi Gamma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Spring ’23.
Sausha was a natural in front of the camera, needing no guidance with poses, which made the shoot flow effortlessly. I’m truly grateful that she trusted me to document this special moment for her and her sisters. It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful occasion!

Kaleb
When my good friend Kaleb Johnson reached out and asked me to capture photos for his birthday, I was thrilled to accept the opportunity. The shoot took place in Greensboro on a baseball field, where Kaleb hosted a kickball game with his friends.
I had an amazing time not only capturing the action but also meeting Kaleb's friends and being part of such a fun celebration. It brings me so much joy to know I was able to preserve this special moment for Kaleb and his friends to look back on for years to come.

Donnie
My good friend, mentor, and fraternity brother, Donnavan Spencer, reached out and asked me to capture photos for his birthday, and I was more than happy to accept. The shoot began with a few shots of him and his friends at a hotel, followed by the main celebration at the Imperial Club in Charlotte, NC, where Donnie had reserved a section to mark the occasion.
This was my first time shooting in a club setting, and I absolutely loved the experience. The vibrant nightlife atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop to capture the energy and excitement of the evening. I’m grateful Donnie trusted me to document such a memorable celebration!

Shy
This was one of my first photoshoots early in my career, and I’m incredibly grateful that Shy gave me the opportunity to capture these moments for her. The shoot took place in her apartment, where she envisioned a pink aesthetic.
With her stylish pink wardrobe, a curated pink picture collage, and the addition of a pink light to fill the room, we successfully brought her vision to life. This experience not only allowed me to explore creative lighting techniques but also gave me valuable insights as I was starting out. I’m truly thankful for the opportunity and the lessons learned!

Airelle
My friend Arielle reached out to have me capture photos for her "Deltaversary," a celebration marking the anniversary of her initiation into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The shoot took place on the WCU campus, right on the steps in front of the fountain, where the setting provided a beautiful backdrop.
With the help of natural lighting, we were able to create stunning shots that perfectly reflected the significance of the occasion. Arielle was thrilled with the results, and I’m grateful to have been a part of celebrating such a meaningful milestone for her.

Kristoff Wilson (Me)
Okay, okay, I have to admit—as much as I love taking pictures for my clients, I really enjoy stepping in front of the camera whenever I get the chance. Part of my passion for photography comes from my own desire to create scenes that reflect my artistic vision.
The first shoot took place at my house, where I used my three-light setup and a backdrop to craft the look I had in mind. With the help of Photoshop, I was able to fill the space with black and remove any lights that were in view, bringing the concept to life.
The second shoot was a bit unconventional but equally exciting—it happened in my bathroom. I used the natural brown aesthetics of the space to capture a distinct vision that fit perfectly with what I wanted to portray. These experiences remind me why I love creating and pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
